“Moments of a Lifetime” scrapbook

Posted by Rebecca on June 22, 2008

I’ve recently gotten involved in scrapbooking. (I’d also like to learn to quilt if anyone has the patience to teach me…)

Anyway, I wanted to share the page ideas with you all for my most recent book. (It’s a 12×12.)

If you think I’m forgetting any important pages, please feel free to offer your opinion.

P1. Title Page: Moments of a Lifetime w/ inspiration for the book, “When an old man dies, a library burns.” (I don’t want my library to burn…)

P2/P3. Birth (to include copy of birth certificate, ultra sound, Mom’s story vs. Dad’s story, etc.)

P4/P5. 1984 (what was going on in the world and such) and the meaning/origin of my name

P6/P7. Birthstone/Zodiac

P8/P9. Mom/Dad

P10/P11. Grandparents W***/Grandparents W*****

P12/P13. Susan/Michael

P14/P15. Monica/Megan G*****

P16/P17. Illinois/Houses

P18/P19. Preschool graduation (’cause I have pictures)/schools

P20/P21. Girl Scouts/Grandma Melba’s cookie receipe

P22/P23. Alabama/Houses

P24/P25. schools/”Sweet 16″

P26/P27. Sparkman High/UAH

P28/P29. cars (Contour, broken Contour, Grand Prix)/broken bones

P30/P31. Whiskers/Spirit, Sadie, Tiger

P32/P33. “Dream Job”/jobs

P34/P35. The Little Mermaid/Chicago Cubs

P36/P37. Jason Dyer/2008

The rest of the pages I thought I might do some straight-up journaling. I’m looking to “The Book of Me” by Angie Pedersen and “All About Me” by Philipp Keel for inspiration.

This is a big undertaking… especially since I have “perfectionist” tendencies. I’m very excited though.
